DevOps Support Engineer
Responsibilities:
- Monitor servers remotely to ensure smoothly operation on daily basis
- Perform root cause analysis for production errors
- Provide technical support to business teams and customer personnel
- Fix or escalate issues when problem occurs to minimize downtime
- Troubleshoot, test and maintain the core product software and databases to ensure strong optimization and functionality
- Provide first line of support for network related issues
- Building and setting up new development tools and infrastructure
- Deploy updates and fixes
- Manage domains and IP addresses
- Automate the maintenance of cloud-based servers
- Develop scripts to automate visualization
- Design procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance
- Perform other ad-hoc duties in response to customer emergency inquiry
- Exposure multiple programming languages and platforms (e.g. Python, HTML, C#, SQL, Linux) is a plus
Requirements:
- Diploma or certificate in IT/Computer Science
- Familiarity with Server OS: Linux/CentOS, Windows Server
- Knowledge of SSH, SMTP, Apache, Proxy, Load Balancer, Firewall, FTP, MSSQL, MongoDB
- Basic skills of setting up DNS, RDNS, Mail Server
- Understands CPU and Memory usage loads
- High problem solving skills and capable to work independently as well as part of team.
